As a JustMoney Financial Coach, you will join the Credit Coaching team in Cape Town to provide personalized financial guidance to clients across South Africa. Operating across digital WebChat, telephonic, and email channels, you will analyze client credit profiles, assess debt positions, recommend budgeting solutions, and act as a financial intermediary connecting clients with major partners like Sanlam Personal Loans, Ooba Home Loans, JustMoney Protect, and DebtBusters.
Key Responsibilities & Daily Deliverables
In this graduate client consulting role, your daily operational workstreams will cover:
1. Credit & Debt Coaching
- Credit Improvement: Guide clients on strategies to improve their credit scores and repair credit management habits.
- Budgeting & Reviews: Conduct comprehensive financial reviews, budget assessments, and debt management evaluations.
- Debt Solutions: Assess client eligibility for debt consolidation, debt relief, home loan bond origination, and vehicle finance.
2. Multi-Channel Client Engagement
- Digital WebChat: Interact with platform users via live WebChat to identify financial needs, answer queries, and offer solutions.
- Inbound & Outbound Calling: Handle incoming customer service calls and execute proactive outbound calls to boost user platform engagement.
3. Partner Intermediary & Lead Transfer
- Partner Referrals: Act as a central bridge, warm-transferring qualified live leads to specialist partners:
- Sanlam (Personal loans & credit cards)
- Ooba Home Loans (Bond origination & further advances)
- DebtBusters (Debt consolidation & debt counselling relief)
Candidate Profile & Requirements
To qualify for this graduate opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: Completed University Degree (e.g., BCom, BA, BSocSci, BBusSci, or related field).
- Experience Level: Entry Level / Fresh Graduate.
- Industry Knowledge (Beneficial):
- Familiarity with the National Credit Act (NCA) and FAIS Act.
- Understanding of retail financial products (personal loans, credit cards, debt counselling, home loans).
- Core Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Target-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask across WebChat, telephone, and email tools simultaneously.
- Ethical, principled behavior aligning with personal finance advisory standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours within a collaborative team environment.
- Location: Based in or able to commute to Cape Town, Western Cape.
