PSG Financial Services is inviting recent finance graduates to join their 18-Month Adviser Development Programme (ADP) as a permanent Employee Benefits Adviser Assistant based at the R21 EB and Wealth office in Irene, Pretoria.
π Permanent Employment + Training Track: This unique program offers immediate permanent employment in an Administration Consultant role within Group Risk and Retirement. Over 18 months, candidates receive structured world-class training, mentorship from established financial advisers, and coaching from Regional Managers to prepare them for a long-term career as a certified Financial Adviser.
Key Responsibilities & Workstreams
During this development programme, your day-to-day deliverables will span four main focus areas:
1. Employee Benefits & Employer Administration
- Employer Support: Assist with day-to-day scheme administration for allocated corporate employer groups.
- Claims Processing: Support group risk, disability, withdrawal, and retirement claim workflows.
2. Client Service & Stakeholder Engagement
- Member Queries: Resolve member inquiries regarding group risk, pension, and provident fund benefits.
- HR/Payroll Coordination: Liaise directly with employer HR and payroll teams, insurance underwriters, and fund administrators.
3. Data & CRM Management
- Record Accuracy: Maintain accurate CRM records, track outstanding claims, and follow up on amendments.
4. Professional Advisory Development
- Mentorship & Training: Complete the 18-month structured development plan, attend client and administrative strategy meetings, and progress toward financial adviser accreditation.
Candidate Profile & Entry Requirements
To qualify for consideration for this permanent graduate placement, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Essential).
- Completed Bachelorβs Degree preferably majoring in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Investment Planning, or Risk Management, or a BCom in Economics (Essential).
- Certifications & Industry Experience:
- 0 β 2 years of experience in the financial services, risk, or retirement industry.
- RE 5 Certificate / NQF 5 Wealth Management Certificate (Advantageous, or to be completed during the 18-month programme).
- Technical & Core Skills:
- Strong interest in corporate employee benefits, group risk, and retirement administration.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Personal Competencies:
- High level of confidentiality, discretion, organization, and multitasking ability.
- Strong desire to learn and transition into a full financial adviser role.
