The Insure Adviser Assistant – Adviser Development Programme (ADP) is an exclusive, 18-month career development initiative designed specifically for BCom Finance graduates. Operating in a permanent role out of Potchefstroom / Klerksdorp, candidates work directly alongside established Short-Term Insurance Advisers and Regional Managers, receiving world-class mentorship, technical insurance training, and hands-on operational experience to transition into a fully qualified Financial Adviser.
Key Responsibilities & Daily Operational Deliverables
In this short-term insurance support role, your daily workstreams will focus on:
1. Client Liaison & Relationship Management
- Client Communication: Direct communication with individual and corporate insurance clients regarding policy inquiries, updates, and service requests.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal underwriters, regional managers, and insurance partners.
2. Policy Administration & Underwriting Support
- Quotations: Prepare accurate short-term insurance quotations for prospective and existing clients.
- Policy Issuance: Process and issue new insurance policies, annual policy renewals, coverage endorsements, and policy adjustments.
3. Data Management & System Administration
- Record Keeping: Accurately log client details, policy schedules, interaction notes, and compliance information into internal CRM and insurance databases.
Candidate Profile & Minimum Entry Criteria
To qualify for this permanent graduate entry opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: Completed Relevant BCom Degree in one of the following fields:
- Finance / Business Finance
- Financial Planning Law / Financial Sciences
- Investments / Investment Management
- Economics (BCom Economics)
- Education: Matric Certificate.
- Work Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in financial services (open to fresh graduates).
- Language & Software Skills:
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Proficient in verbal and written English plus at least one other official South African language (e.g., Afrikaans or Setswana).
- Key Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, resilient stress tolerance, high client focus, strict adherence to deadlines, and strong organizational skills.
