The Remote Graphic Design Internship (Branding & Web Concepts) is a 3-month part-time learning programme designed for design students and recent graduates. With a light time commitment of 6–10 hours per week, this internship offers direct weekly mentorship, real-world portfolio building, and hands-on exposure to brand identity systems, Figma web design, and digital content creation.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Modules
Under the direct mentorship of an experienced lead designer, your weekly tasks and learning modules will include:
1. Brand Identity & Visual Design
- Brand Systems: Assist in developing brand identity kits, custom logos, typography rules, and color palettes.
- Visual Assets: Create mockups, promotional graphics, and design assets for digital and social platforms.
2. Web Design & UI Wireframing
- Figma Wireframes: Assist in building website wireframes, mobile layout concepts, and digital interfaces using Figma.
- Client Shadowing: Shadow live client projects and participate in creative design review sessions.
3. Pitch Presentations & Content Creation
- Pitch Decks: Learn how to structure visual design presentations and pitch creative concepts to stakeholders.
- Social Layouts: Design engaging social media layouts and visual content.
Candidate Profile & Selection Requirements
To qualify for this remote graphic design internship, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Academic Background: Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or UI/UX Design.
- Design Fundamentals: Strong eye for visual layout, typography, color theory, and digital spacing.
- Technical Tools & Hardware:
- Laptop Requirement: Must have your own functional laptop/computer.
- Software Stack: Proficiency or eagerness to design in Figma and Canva (both free to use).
- Time Commitment: Available for 6–10 hours per week over a 3-month period with a flexible schedule.
- Soft Skills & Collaboration: Reliable, eager to take constructive weekly feedback, and comfortable collaborating asynchronously via Slack, Figma, and Notion.
