Career Advice for AON Applicants
- Understand “Risk”: AON doesn’t just sell car insurance. They help massive companies manage “Risk” (everything from cyber-attacks to natural disasters). In your interview, show that you understand that Risk Management is about strategy and prevention, not just paperwork.
- Professionalism First: Firms like AON and Nicasia are highly corporate. Ensure your CV is clean, free of typos, and uses a professional layout. Your communication style should be “business-formal.”
- The Engineering Angle: If you are an Engineering graduate applying for this, you might wonder why. Insurance firms need engineers to conduct “Site Risk Surveys”—assessing the safety of factories, mines, and construction sites to determine insurance premiums.
