Expert Advice: Succeeding at the “Test-A-Relay” Selection Day
- The “Audition” Mindset: Unlike most internships, this one starts with a practical “test day.” Treat the free training session as an extended interview. Stay engaged, ask technical questions, and demonstrate your safety awareness.
- Safety First: In high-voltage environments, discipline is non-negotiable. Show that you understand the importance of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and the OHS Act.
- Logbook Diligence: This program provides a signed logbook of practical experience, which is essential for your future ECSA registration as a professional. Be prepared to document every task from day one.
