Braun Management is hiring a Data Analytics Intern to support its consulting team during a major South African corporate engagement. Operating in a 100% remote environment, you will translate raw operational datasets, departmental metrics, and financial reporting into clear, evidence-backed insights that directly guide executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Daily Analytical Workstreams

In this fully remote position, your daily deliverables will cover four core areas:

1. Data Cleaning, Verification & Database Auditing

  • Data Hygiene: Clean, organize, and structure large, complex operational datasets provided by client business units.
  • Database Integrity: Verify the accuracy and integrity of internal client databases to prevent analytical errors in restructuring plans.

2. Financial & Operational Modeling

  • Decision Models: Assist in constructing decision-rights and resource-allocation models to measure how structural changes impact cost centers and operational efficiency.
  • Pattern Identification: Query departmental performance metrics to uncover structural friction points and operational trends.

3. Data Visualization & Executive Summaries

  • Visual Dashboards: Create clear visual representations of resource allocation and operational workflows.
  • Executive Briefings: Draft clear, jargon-free analytical summaries that explain complex numerical trends in plain language.

4. Documentation & Research Tracking

  • Audit Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation tracking how data points are collected, cleaned, and processed throughout the engagement.
