Designed to transition recent engineering graduates into full field service roles across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), the internship starts with intensive hands-on radio repair training before expanding into mission-critical digital radio deployments, IP transmission design, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities & Learning Roadmap

During this structured graduate program, your technical deliverables will focus on four primary areas:

1. Technical Training & Radio Repair Foundation

• Hardware Servicing: Begin with structured hands-on training in digital two-way radio diagnostics, component testing, and equipment repair.
• System Integration: Transition gradually into supporting larger mission-critical radio and data communications deployments across SSA.

2. Deployment & Field Support

• Technical Assistance: Provide engineering support for regional public safety project rollouts.
• Testing & Quality: Develop and execute test plans to ensure deployed systems match design requirements and security standards.
• Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical deviations and customer tickets to full resolution.

3. Network Transmission & Interface Design

• IP & Transmission: Gain practical exposure to complex project integration, including interface definitions, IP networking, and transmission implementation.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Customer Presentation: Communicate technical solutions and status updates confidently to internal regional leads and public safety clients.

Candidate Profile & Minimum Requirements

To qualify for entry into this entry-level engineering internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Completed BSc, H.N.C., or equivalent Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Field of Study: Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Solid foundational background in communications solutions, wireless network architectures, and IP transmission.
