This role is designed for “Data Detectives”—individuals who don’t just look at numbers but enjoy investigating why they don’t match and ensuring that the foundation of a company’s data is 100% accurate.
The Project: Denodo to Snowflake Migration
Data migration is one of the most critical phases in a company’s digital transformation. As a Data Quality Analyst, you will be the “Gatekeeper” ensuring that when data moves from the virtualization layer (Denodo) to the cloud data warehouse (Snowflake), nothing is lost, corrupted, or misinterpreted.
- Data Validation: Running parallel queries to ensure the data in the new system matches the old.
- Investigation: Digging into discrepancies to find the root cause (is it a coding error, a logic change, or a source data issue?).
- Data Profiling: Assessing the “health” of the data before and after it moves.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Communicating your findings to Data Engineers and Business Analysts to fix issues in real-time.
Ideal Candidates & Qualifications
CP Consulting is looking for sharp, quantitative minds from the following academic backgrounds:
- Tech & Systems: Computer Science, Information Systems, or Informatics.
- Mathematical Sciences: Statistics, Mathematics, or Applied Maths.
- Business & Analysis: Data Analytics or Business Analytics.
- Finance & Commerce: Finance, Accounting, Investment Management, or Economics.
Experience Level: Recent Graduates to Juniors with 1–2 years of experience.
