About the Role & Development Program

A leading business development agency located in Bryanston, Sandton is offering a structured Strategy Analyst Learnership for young South African professionals. This program combines formal learning toward an NQF Level 4 Qualification in Business Administration with real-world project exposure across business strategy, market research, brand building, and client consulting.

The successful learner will work alongside senior strategists, participating in research, data analysis, client workshops, store visits, and marketing/PR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Practical Exposure

The Strategy Analyst Learner will build skills across five primary business disciplines:

1. Market Research & Data Synthesis

  • Secondary Research: Gather industry data, market reports, and competitor intelligence, synthesizing key insights into clear summaries.
  • Document Audits: Review client documentation to extract relevant business metrics and operational facts.

2. Strategic Presentation & Insights

  • Slide Structuring: Learn how to structure and draft compelling strategic presentations for executive clients.
  • Marketing Trends: Track emerging trends across local and international branding, marketing, and public relations.

3. Project Administration & Operational Support

  • Project Delivery: Assist project managers with report writing, logistical scheduling, store visits, and workshop coordination.
  • Quality Assurance: Proofread and review deliverables to ensure accuracy, adherence to timelines, and compliance with project briefs.

4. Client & Workshop Engagement

  • Client Meetings: Attend strategy sessions and client feedback workshops in an active learning capacity.
  • Internal Feedback: Contribute constructive ideas to refine internal consulting methodologies and project workflows.

5. Marketing, PR & Social Media Assistance

  • Brand Support: Assist with internal and external marketing projects, public relations collateral, and corporate social media activities.

Stipend & Qualification Outcome

  • Monthly Stipend: R 10 000.00 per month for the duration of the learnership.
  • Accredited Qualification: Formal enrollment into a Business Administration NQF Level 4 program.
