About NMG Benefits & The IT Support Team

As an IT Graduate, you will join the internal systems team in Johannesburg responsible for managing the company’s enterprise Zoho ecosystem. Working directly with system administrators and business users, you will serve as the first line of technical support, ensuring seamless operations, user enablement, and continuous platform improvements.

Key Responsibilities & Daily Technical Duties

In this role, your daily operational focus will cover three core support areas:

1. System & First-Line User Support

  • Ticket Management: Serve as the first point of contact for all Zoho-related user queries; log, classify, and track support tickets through to resolution.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose system issues, identify root causes, and resolve user-facing bugs within the CRM and associated tools.
  • Vendor Liaison: Escalate complex technical incidents to central Zoho Support or senior administrators as required.
  • Reporting: Track ticket trends, resolution metrics, and system response times to support continuous improvement.

2. User Enablement & Knowledge Base Creation

  • User Training: Guide internal staff on Zoho navigation, feature workflows, and best practices.
  • Documentation: Draft, update, and maintain user guides, FAQs, and self-help knowledge base articles.

3. Platform Enhancement & Optimization

  • Preventative Support: Spot recurring system issues and collaborate with implementation teams to optimize workflows.
  • Feature Updates: Stay updated on new Zoho releases, applications, and ecosystem features relevant to business operations.

Candidate Profile & Minimum Entry Requirements

To qualify for this graduate opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Qualification: Completed tertiary qualification or relevant certifications in Information Technology (IT), Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • Systems Knowledge: Basic working understanding of CRM platforms, workflow logic, and corporate IT operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical diagnostic skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service mindset when dealing with internal business stakeholders.
  • Location: Based in or able to work from Johannesburg, Gauteng.
