The CCN Analytics Graduate Program places emerging data talent at the intersection of strategic consulting, machine learning, Generative AI, and agentic AI systems. Working alongside global multidisciplinary experts in Johannesburg, graduates contribute across the entire end-to-end AI value chain—from establishing multi-year corporate AI roadmaps to hands-on coding, cloud deployment, and business process transformation.
Program Impact & Key Workstreams
In this role, your technical and analytical contributions will cover four major strategic domains:
1. End-to-End AI Strategy & Operating Models
- Value Identification: Help top-tier clients pinpoint high-value AI opportunities across revenue, cost reduction, and customer experience.
- Roadmap & Architecture: Shape multi-year AI execution roadmaps, defining tech stacks, investment priorities, and organizational structures.
2. Function Re-engineering (AI-Native Operations)
- AI Integration: Redesign core corporate functions (such as fraud detection, risk management, and pricing strategies) by integrating machine learning models, virtual AI agents, and Generative AI co-pilots.
3. Hands-On Technical Build & Cloud Deployment
- Code & Scale: Develop, test, and scale advanced analytical solutions using modern tech stacks including Python, PySpark, SQL, and cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure).
4. Strategic Problem-Solving & Executive Communication
- Collaborative Analysis: Synthesize research, data analytics, and expert interviews into actionable business recommendations.
- Stakeholder Delivery: Present findings and innovative model outputs clearly to C-suite and client leadership teams.
Candidate Profile & Minimum Entry Requirements
To qualify for this high-impact analytics program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (with a strong academic record) in:
- Data Analytics / Data Science
- Computer Science / Software Engineering
- Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence
- Applied Statistics / Mathematics
- Core Technical Stack:
- Python: High proficiency in Python (academic or professional experience) is mandatory.
- Complementary Tools: Experience with PySpark, SQL, R, SPSS, SAS, or Hadoop is highly advantageous.
- Commercial & Problem-Solving Mindset: Entrepreneurial initiative, willingness to take full ownership of workstreams, manage tight deadlines, and connect technical AI solutions to tangible business value.
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Johannesburg, Gauteng.
