Career Advice for QLA Applicants
- Feature Your Honours NQF Level 8 Status: Because this programme strictly requires an NQF Level 8 qualification (Honours degree), make sure your degree type is explicitly written as “Bachelor of [Science/Commerce] (Honours)” at the very top of your resume’s education section.
- Prominently Display Your 65% Aggregate: Automated screening systems will filter for academic performance. Calculate your latest cumulative aggregate and display it clearly next to your qualification (e.g., Cumulative Average: 71%).
- Showcase Practical Tech Projects: Don’t just list your modules. Include a “Key Projects” section highlighting your Honours thesis, an AI/data model you built, or a software system you designed, emphasizing the analytical and problem-solving methodologies you utilized.
