A dynamic Business Intelligence team in Sandton is looking for a technically proficient Junior BI Consultant to help drive data-driven decision-making. Position Details
- Location: Sandton, Johannesburg (Office-based)
- Salary: R15,000 – R16,000 CTC per month

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years in a SQL, reporting, or data-focused role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong SQL skills (joins, grouping, subqueries, aggregations).
- Solid understanding of relational databases.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented, reliable, and professional.
- Advantageous Extras:
- Exposure to Power BI, SSRS, or other BI tools.
- Basic understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts.
- Experience with financial or insurance data.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the bridge between raw data and actionable insights:
- SQL Optimization: Writing, testing, and optimizing queries for reporting and analysis.
- Data Manipulation: Extracting and manipulating data from SQL Server databases.
- Reporting: Developing and maintaining reports using Excel, SSRS, and Power BI.
- Validation: Performing data reconciliations and ensuring data accuracy.
- Support: Troubleshooting reporting issues and documenting SQL logic.
