Eligibility Criteria & Minimum Requirements
Maersk maintains specific criteria for its youth pipeline registration. To be eligible, applicants must match the following parameters:
- Citizenship: Must hold valid South African citizenship.
- Age Bracket: Must be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Education: A completed Grade 12 / Matric Certificate with a strong academic tracking record. (Any additional tertiary certificates, diplomas, or degrees are highly advantageous).
- Experience Level: Must not be permanently employed, and must have less than 2 years of total formal working experience.
- Exclusions: Must not have participated in or completed a previous YES Learnership with any other company.

Key Responsibilities & Learning Areas
As a YES Learner, you will be systematically exposed to functional business operational pathways:
- Taking active ownership of administrative, data entries, and functional support tasks across your assigned department (e.g., customer service, data analytics, documentation, or warehouse tracking).
- Participating directly in daily agile team routines to ensure rapid problem resolution and client workflow continuity.
- Developing a thorough, practical understanding of modern international supply chain operations and global shipping regulatory compliance.
- Keeping up with assigned training schedules, professional performance feedback, and line-level targets.
