Career Advice for Applicants

  1. Highlight Your Zero-Experience Status: This program is strictly designed for true entry-level candidates who have never had an internship or formal sector job. In your personal summary, frame this as an advantage by emphasizing your fresh academic perspective and your eagerness to learn Rand Water’s specific systems from scratch.
  2. Detail Your Final-Year Academic Projects: Since you do not have work history to show, make your degree stand out. Create a dedicated “Academic Projects” section on your CV detailing a major software program you coded, a statistical data model you built, or a business case study you analyzed during your final year.
  3. Keep All Certificates Certified: Ensure you have clean, legible scans of your ID, Matric Certificate, Degree, and complete Academic Transcripts ready. Make sure they are certified recently to prevent any compliance delays during the automated screening process.
