1. Engineering & Technical Fields (Graduates & In-Service Trainees)

  • Chemical Engineering Intern: Completed National Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Electrical Engineering Intern (Experiential/P1/P2): Final year of studies towards an N6, S3, or S4 National Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Must provide an institutional letter confirming the need for work exposure to graduate.
  • Mechanical Engineering Intern (Experiential/P1/P2): Final year of studies towards an N6, S3, or S4 National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Must provide an institutional letter confirming the need for work exposure to graduate.

2. Core Mining, Geology & Survey Streams

  • Mining Engineering Intern: Completed National Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering.
  • Mine Planning Intern: Completed National Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering with a focus on planning frameworks.
  • Geology Intern: Completed National Diploma or Degree in Geology.
  • Rock Engineering Intern: Completed National Diploma or Degree in Geology or Mining Engineering.
  • Survey Intern: Completed National Diploma or Degree in Mine Surveying.

3. Safety, Risk & Environmental Science Hubs

  • Environmental Sciences/Management Intern: Completed National Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science.
