Key Responsibilities & Rotational Pillars

The Supply Chain Graduate Trainee will gain multi-disciplinary exposure across four core supply chain functions:

1. Demand Planning & Supply Operations

  • Inventory & Demand Forecasting: Utilize analytical tools and SAP systems to model consumer demand trends, manage stock levels, and minimize waste.
  • Factory Alignment: Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing plants to ensure optimal stock availability across distribution hubs.

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Sourcing Execution: Assist procurement leads in sourcing raw materials, managing supplier performance, and optimizing procurement spend.
  • Cost & Value Optimization: Analyze vendor contracts and support cost-saving initiatives aligned with Nestlé’s global sustainability targets.

3. Logistics & Distribution Operations

  • Warehousing & Transport: Monitor physical logistics operations, freight routing, and warehouse inventory movements from source to shelf.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to identify supply chain bottlenecks and enhance delivery speed.

4. Customer Service & Order Fulfillment

  • Customer Engagement: Partner with sales and commercial teams to resolve fulfillment queries and optimize key retail account logistics.
