Career Advice for Scatec Applicants

  1. Understand the “IPP” Model: Scatec is an Independent Power Producer (IPP). Research how they sell electricity back to the grid. Showing that you understand the business of energy—not just the technology—will set you apart.
  2. Sustainability is the Core: Regardless of your degree, you must show a commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. Scatec doesn’t just build plants; they focus on the long-term impact on local communities.
  3. The “Mechatronic” Angle: If you are a Mechatronic Engineer, focus on your knowledge of automation and remote monitoring. Scatec uses advanced sensors to track the performance of their solar farms across the globe.
