About the Opportunity

M-Stone Recruitment is seeking experienced Roadside Assistant / Dispatching / Case Management Specialists for a top insurance firm based in Edenvale, Gauteng.

This is a fast-paced 4-month contract role starting immediately. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing roadside assistance cases end-to-end, dispatching towing and emergency services, and ensuring policyholders receive rapid, professional support during vehicle breakdowns or emergency incidents.

Key Responsibilities & Daily Deliverables

The Roadside Assistant / Case Manager will manage emergency response operations across four primary areas:

1. Emergency Call Handling & Case Creation

  • Case Intake: Receive incoming emergency assistance calls from policyholders experiencing roadside breakdowns, accidents, or mechanical failures.
  • Policy Verification: Verify client insurance policy cover details quickly and register accurate incident records on the case management system.

2. Service Provider Dispatch & Logistics

  • Dispatching: Coordinate and dispatch preferred towing operators, roadside repair technicians, locksmiths, or battery response units to the incident site.
  • ETA Tracking: Monitor service provider arrival times (ETAs) and keep policyholders updated on vehicle recovery progress.

3. Incident Case Management

  • End-to-End Tracking: Manage each case from initial incident logging through service dispatch to successful vehicle recovery and case closure.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication between clients, towing contractors, call center supervisors, and insurance assessors.

4. Administrative Accuracy & Vetting

  • Record Keeping: Capture detailed call logs, service notes, and vendor invoice details accurately in accordance with insurance compliance standards.

Candidate Profile & Minimum Entry Requirements

To qualify for consideration for this immediate 4-month contract, candidates must meet the following strict criteria:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Valid Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Essential).
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Proven practical experience in Roadside Assistance, Emergency Dispatching, or Case Management within the short-term insurance or motor assistance sectors (Essential).
  • Background Vetting Checks:
    • Must have a clear ITC / Credit record (Mandatory).
    • Must have a clear Criminal record (Mandatory).
  • Core Skills & Attributes:
    • Strong crisis-management and real-time problem-solving skills under pressure.
    • Excellent telephone etiquette and empathetic verbal communication in English.
    • High computer literacy and fast data-capturing skills.
    • Ability to start immediately on a 4-month contract basis.
  • Location: Based in or able to commute to Edenvale, Ekurhuleni / Gauteng.
