How to Apply

PwC values “The PwC Professional”—a framework of five attributes: Whole Leadership, Business Acumen, Technical and Digital, Global and Inclusive, and Relationships.

  1. The Digital CV: Ensure your CV highlights your academic transcripts and any leadership roles (societies, sports, or volunteer work).
  2. The Portfolio of You: If you are from a technical background (Data/AI/Engineering), briefly mention specific tools or projects you’ve mastered.
  3. Early Submission: Don’t wait for 7 June. Large firms like PwC often begin screening applications as they arrive.

Expert Career Advice: The PwC Interview

  1. Be “Global and Inclusive”: PwC operates in a borderless business world. Show that you can work with people from different backgrounds and perspectives. In your interview, talk about a time you collaborated in a diverse team.
  2. Business Acumen: Even if you are an Engineer or IT graduate, you must show you understand the “Business” side. Why does a company need AI? How does a supply chain bottleneck affect a company’s bottom line?
  3. Ask Great Questions: At the end of a consulting interview, the quality of your questions matters as much as your answers. Ask about their recent “New Equation” projects or how they are helping clients navigate South Africa’s specific economic challenges.
