G+D Mobile Security is recruiting an organized, detail-oriented Customer Operations Intern to join their team in Gauteng. Designed for recent graduates seeking hands-on exposure to global operational excellence, this internship provides direct involvement in international order management, purchase order processing, supply chain tracking, and document archiving in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities & Supply Chain Workflows
The Customer Operations Intern will execute six core operational deliverables under departmental supervision:
1. Order Processing & Purchase Order Management
- PO Placement: Ensure the timely placement of all purchase orders (POs) to meet customer delivery demands continuously.
- Order Tracking: Assist with operational order tracking, workflow monitoring, and cross-team coordination to maintain efficient order fulfillment schedules.
2. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Compliance & Filing: Maintain accurate document archives following strict company operating procedures for all order processing stages.
- Reporting: Adhere to internal reporting requirements, compiling data summaries for management reviews.
3. Team Collaboration & Product Learning
- Operational Support: Support team members on ad-hoc logistics and procurement tasks to streamline workflow bottlenecks.
- Product Knowledge: Continuously build and update product knowledge regarding G+D’s SIM/eSIM technologies, IoT connectivity solutions, and digital security services.
Candidate Profile & Entry Requirements
To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following mandatory academic and personal criteria:
- Educational Qualifications (MANDATORY DIPLOMA/DEGREE):
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Mandatory).
- Completed Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related operations discipline (Mandatory).
- Work Experience Level:
- 0 years of professional experience required in international order management or procurement (Mandatory — Ideal for recent graduates).
- Advantageous: Prior customer service experience.
