1. SAIPA Trainee Accountants (3-Year Articles – 2027 Intake & Immediate Start)
2. Experienced Accountant (Xero Specialist – Engineering / Manufacturing Sector)

Open Positions & Detailed Breakdown

Role 1: SAIPA Trainee Accountants (2027 Intake & Immediate Clerks)

• Position Type: 3-Year SAIPA Training Contract (Articles).
• Target Candidates: 1st-Year Trainees (2027 Graduate Intake) OR current SAIPA Clerks available immediately.
• Experience Required: None (Entry-level / Graduate role).
• Core Focus: Complete structured 3-year SAIPA articles covering financial accounting, tax compliance, payroll processing, and management reporting under qualified SAIPA mentors.

Role 2: Experienced Accountant (Northern Suburbs)

• Position Type: Full-Time Permanent.
• Industry Context: Engineering, Manufacturing, or Construction environment.
• Core Focus: Daily operational accounting, financial ledgers, bank reconciliations, accounts payable control, and assisting the Financial Manager with month-end closures.

Candidate Profiles & Minimum Entry Requirements

Requirements for SAIPA Trainee Accountants:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Essential).
  • Completed or final-year BCom Degree / BCom Honours in Accounting or a SAIPA-accredited finance qualification (Essential).
• Attributes:
  • Ambitious, articulate, professional, and committed to completing a 3-year professional SAIPA training contract.
• Documentation Required:
  • Complete Academic Transcripts (University Results) and Matric Certificate.

Requirements for Experienced Accountant:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance (Preferred).
• Experience & Industry Background:
  • 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience using Xero Accounting Software (Essential).
  • Prior working experience within an Engineering, Manufacturing, or Construction environment (Highly Advantageous).
• Key Accounting Skills:
  • Proven background in daily transactional accounting, bank reconciliations, and managing accounts payable/supplier accounts.
  • Experience assisting Financial Managers with month-end processing and ledger closures.
